Join the Zambezi Expedition

And help protect people and wildlife in Uganda

Our partner, Africa Exclusive embarks on a groundbreaking expedition this year to mark their 30th anniversary, raising funds and awareness for our Living with Wildlife appeal.

The Zambezi Expedition will explore some of Africa’s most remote wilderness areas along the 1,600-mile length of the Zambezi River. Want to be a part of this pioneering venture? The journey will be split into six, week-long sections, with space for just eight adventurous guests to join each section. For every Send a Cow supporter who books a space on the trip, Send a Cow will receive 10% commission.

“The idea for our Zambezi Expedition began with a suggestion that we should take part in a challenge during our 30th year to raise money for causes close to our hearts. From little acorns, mighty oaks grow; a 30th anniversary theme of Giving Back was unanimously agreed and we began to explore the possibility of travelling the entire length of the Zambezi River.”

Like the river itself, some sections of the Expedition will be more intrepid and others more leisurely — there is certain to be something for everyone. Visit anti-poaching projects, track rhino on foot, and even take a ‘Flight of Angels’ by helicopter over iconic Victoria Falls! As the focus of the journey is on giving back, you will meet the people of the Zambezi, enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes access to conservation initiatives, and hear firsthand about Send a Cow projects. Throughout the journey, you can expect charismatic guides, exhilarating game drives, delicious food, and a comfortable bed.
