By raising £60 this Christmas, your school can help families in Zambia to tackle climate change and hunger.
Climate change is having a big impact on the lives of people in Zambia. Crops are failing due to changing weather conditions, leaving families at greater risk of hunger. But it doesn't have to be like this.
Our project in Ongolwe, rural Zambia, is aiming to provide 1,100 families, with training in farming techniques, which will help them grow crops that are resilient to climate change.
This Christmas your school can be an important part of this life-changing work by doing one of the following activities:
Share Veronica's story
Get your class thinking around the issues of hunger and climate change in Zambia.
Print your own gift tags
for the children to write messages of hope to families like Veronica’s in Zambia.
Host a festive fundraiser
Sell some homemade cakes or homemade wrapping paper. Request extra resources including posters, balloons, money boxes and stickers.
