Newton St Loe (office with flexible home working) 
£27,657 – £37,418 per annum 
Full time 37.5, 5 days per week (with flexibility for the right candidate)  

Send a Cow is an exceptional place to work. It is an award-winning international development charity providing training and ongoing support to smallholder farmers in six African countries.  Our talented teams on the ground don’t impose solutions, they help our farming families grow from within and that’s why they work. Our African designed solutions were developed with, and for, the communities we work with and as a result 97% of farmers believe they can provide enough food and income for their families’ needs from their farms.

Our Partnerships and Philanthropy Team is key to achieving this incredible impact and has an excellent track record of stewarding five and six figure gifts from companies and philanthropists in the UK and Europe.  We are looking for a dedicated and creative professional to join our busy and high-performing team.

This varied and rewarding role will suit someone with a can-do attitude, a curious mind and a passion for development. They will have excellent relationship management skills to steward the philanthropy of long-term committed Send a Cow supporters through a range of bespoke engagements and unique events.   They will have outstanding copywriting and presentation skills to prepare impactful reports, innovative engagement pieces across different mediums and work with the team to support new business development by creating persuasive proposals and pitches to appeal to a global reach of prospective corporate partners and philanthropists.

The successful candidate will be supported by their colleagues in Bath, working collaboratively to align supporters to a range of Send a Cow’s sustainable livelihoods projects. These might include training Ugandan farming families in a climate-smart pest management technique to protect their harvests or empowering coffee growing farmers to become self-sufficient in Rwanda. Together, with our fundraising and programmes colleagues, we will deliver innovative opportunities and inspiring stories of hope to share with our supporters ensuring we emerge from 2020 with new ways to engage even more supporters with our transformational projects.
